Why the list looks the way it does
Every service on this page shares one requirement: it has to survive Kentucky. Louisville sits on heavy clay that holds water, and the Ohio Valley freeze-thaw cycle punishes anything built without real base prep — patios heave, walls lean, drives rut, and new lawns wash into the low corner. So our scope always starts below the surface: excavation, compaction, and drainage are standard on every hardscape job, and grade gets checked before anything green goes in.
You'll also notice what's not here. We don't pour concrete, lay stone masonry, install artificial turf, or build ponds — those are different trades, and we'd rather tell you who does them well than do them badly. What we do take on, the owner builds personally, from the free on-site estimate to the final cleanup.
